Martin Litton Biography



Born in 1957, Martin Litton graduated from Colchester Institute with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in music. His early career included periods with Harry Gold and His Pieces of Eight and Kenny Ball’s Jazzmen, with whom he toured the Middle East and Russia. Later work included recording with leading British and American jazz musicians including Humphrey Lyttelton, Wally Fawkes, Kenny Davern, Wild Bill Davison and Marty Grosz. Martin spends his time playing across the UK and touring Europe with a number of ensembles.
