1 more sleep...A Night at The Cotton ClubWith only 1 more sleep until A Night at The Cotton Club the concert has nearly sold out. We had our dress rehearsal on Tuesday night and all I can say is WOW! The dancers were amazing, the band sounds phenomenal and with nearly 300 people in attendance it will be a knockout! We have 25 tickets left online www.jasondownes.com/cotton so you'll need to be quick. Some limited 'standing room only' seats may be available for $25 on the door...last minute details will appear here. Martin and Spats are coming:UK virtuosos Martin Litton (piano) and Spats Langham (guitar/banjo/vocals) will be arriving in Melbourne at the end of this month. They are playing only one Melbourne concert which will be held at the Abbotsford Convent. Jason Downes Entertainment is proud to be managing their Australian tour including this one-off concert. Located just back from the Yarra River, the Abbotsford Convent has a rich history in music and the arts. Joining Martin and Spats in the Linen room at the convent will be the fantastic Sydney reedsman and Australian jazz icon, Paul Furniss. Local musicians Ian Smith and Mark Elton on drums and double bass will round out what is sure to be a memorable evening.
